These terms apply when you download, install, or use Snapbak (the “app”) or visit snapbak.site (the “site”). By using Snapbak, you agree to them.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use Snapbak on Macs you own or control, under the plan you’re on. Early‑access users receive the Free plan at no cost.

You may not reverse‑engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else’s rights.

Your content

Everything you capture with Snapbak is yours. Because Snapbak is local‑first, your captures stay on your Mac and we don’t claim any rights to them. You are responsible for the content you record and share, including getting consent where the law requires it before recording other people, meetings, or calls.

Paid plans

Pro, Pro Cloud, and Team plans are not on sale yet. When they launch, their prices, billing terms, and refund policy will be shown at checkout and on the pricing page before you buy.

Services run by others

Some optional features, such as bring‑your‑own‑key AI providers or integrations, connect to services run by other companies. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we’re not responsible for them.

Early access and changes

Snapbak is under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and early‑access builds may contain bugs. Keep backups of anything important.

Disclaimer

Snapbak is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You can stop using Snapbak at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend licenses used in violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
